Web Roundup: Origami Batman, the Future Sucks, and 5 Children’s Sequels That Should Be Made Before Cars 2

Click above for the 5 sequels to children's movies that should have been made before Cars 2.

I’ve been a little worried about Pixar lately. Blasphemy, I know, but with one new title canceled (Newt, which I fully blame on the speedy development of a film with a similar story, Rio) and only one new original title announced amidst a slew of sequels I think it’s healthy to be worried. The Toy Story sequels were fantastic and all, so I have some faith in the studio’s ability to make a sequel that measures of up to the original, but even I was scratching my head when Cars 2 was announced. It seemed to me that there were far more deserving titles from Pixar that deserved a sequel, and more children’s films in general that lended themselves better to sequel treatment. It would seem the staff over at Pajiba agree, and they’ve compiled a pretty solid list of 5 titles that deserve sequels more than Cars 2.
