Pixar Goes Dark: Rodrigo Blaas’ ‘Alma’

Though you may not recognize his name, you’re most likely extremely familiar with animator Rodrigo Blaas through his work on several of Pixar’s titles such as Ratatouille and Wall-E. Well, Blaas decided to drop the family image temporarily and create a short film of his own, and the results are nothing but spectacular.

The short, called “Alma,” revolves around a toy store that lures children into it in an attempt to steal their souls. It’s well-made, smooth, and creepy as hell. Check it out above.
