Geek Shopping Network: This Week’s Must-Have Goodies

Welcome to the Geek Shopping Network, where every Tuesday we’ll give you heads up on any nerd-related new releases, sales, or just plain cool stuff we find. All the details after the jump.

There’s a lot of great stuff hitting the shelves this week, but here are my personal recommendations on what to pick up when out and about:

We have a TV triple-play this week: No Ordinary Family Season 1, Fringe Season 3 and Chuck Season 4 are all available today!

Over in the book department we have some Supernatural fun, awesome Vampire Knight art and a Star Wars Jedi Guide.

Supernatural: Bobby Singer’s Guide to Hunting – the plot of this is that Bobby will lose his memory in the next 24 hours, so he wants to write down everything he knows to help our favorite demon-slaying duo.

The Art of Vampire Knight: Matsuri Hino Illustrations – aside from a gorgeous gallery of artwork with commentary, you also get a how to guide and exclusive poster.

The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force – an ancient training manual that is passed down from Master to Padawan that details the history and hierarchy of the Jedi Order, and what Jedi must know to take their place as defenders of the peace in the galaxy.

Over in the gaming department everyone I know is running out to pick up the zombie fun in Dead Island (available on PS3, Xbox 360 & PC). There are some other great titles to check out as well though.

Exclusively on PS3 is the fourth title in the Resistance series, Resistance 3. The cool part is, it’s the first in the series to support 3D and Playstation Move!

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine take on an invading Ork horde as Captain Titus, leader of the Ultramarines in this third-person action-packed game. It is available for PS3, Xbox 360 & PC.

That leaves us with movies on DVD this week.  Naturally, the one I’m most excited about, X-Men: First Class on Blu-ray! HELL YES! Speaking of,  don’t forget to get your hands on an official movie poster by getting in on our giveaway!

That wraps-up this edition, check back next week for more!
