How the Joker is Screwing Up the Continuity of the New 52 Batman Timeline

May 31, 2012 9 comments

One of the major selling points for DC’s relaunch of their entire universe with the New 52 was the newly streamlined continuity, a chance to cast off the jumbled mess that was their history and start fresh. They said they wanted to fix continuity, and keep everything running smoothly. Well one character has already thrown a wrench in those plans and events surrounding him have already seriously messed up any continuity or timelines for the books in the Batman family. I speak, of course, of the Joker. Hit the jump to see how he’s wrecking everything, but beware of potential spoilers.

Star Wars: The Radio Play, Starring Your Childhood Cartoon Icons

This is just amazing. At the 2012 Emerald City Comic-Con, they had a panel featuring iconic voice actors such as Billy West, Tara Strong, and Kevin freaking Conroy reading and performing the Star Wars script as their characters. It is phenomenal, but I highly recommend just listening to the video instead of watching them act. It helps immerse you more. It’s long, at an hour and a half, but totally worth it.

Socks, Kitty Avatar of the Red, Needs to Take a Leak in This Preview of ‘Animal Man Annual #1’

Man, I missed these. I haven’t posted comic previews in ages, due to being overloaded with finals, but now that my bachelor’s is in hand I’ll be back to throwing up previews of the week’s releases every Tuesday. Feels good. It’s a special week for DC Comics, with the release of a few annuals as well as a new series due to the extra week this month, and I’m not complaining. First off hit the jump to see a preview of Animal Man Annual #1, where Socks needs to tinkle.
