Since we’re somewhat back I’ve decided to expand The Rogues Gallery a bit. The sheer amount of concept art that goes into any gaming project is absolutely staggering, and given how gorgeous most of it is it’s an absolute shame that many are completely unaware of a lot of it. So we’ll be showcasing the concept art of some gaming titles from time to time, and I’ve decided to kick it off with the art of FINAL FANTASY XIII as I’m currently replaying it. Square Enix Officially Announces ‘Lightning Returns: FINAL FANTASY XIII’

This weekend marks not just the annual Penny Arcade Expo, but also the 25th anniversary of FINAL FANTASY, and Square isn’t taking that milestone lightly. Yesterday saw a big presentation from the developer, including the confirmation of a title everyone was expecting them to make: Lightning Returns: FINAL FANTASY XIII aka FFXIII-3. Greg Capullo’s Cover For ‘Batman #13’ is Possibly Creepier Than the Promo Art

That promo art that came out last Monday to announce the return of the Joker was creepy in it’s own right. This cover may be creepier. This October, ‘Green Lantern’ Sees the ‘Rise of the Third Army’

The Joker Returns to the DC Universe With ‘Batman #13’

We knew today that Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo would be unveiling the villain of the nextBatmanarc today on the DC Comics Blog, but I had no clue they were going to be the ones to bring The Joker back into the fold. I honestly assumedDetective Comicswould eventually be returning to the character for Daniel to wrap up his plot thread, but that being said I am far more excited/happy to see Snyder and Capullo handle it.
