Apologies for the delay, a brand new job opening a new location causes my entire life to vanish. We’ll be trying to get back to regular now, starting off with this great photoshop gag from 9gag. As many are already aware, yesterday skydiver Felix Baumgartner attempted to break his own freefall record by diving to Earth from space. That’s completely badass on it’s own, but imagining it as a massive leap-of-faith from Altair of Assassin’s Creed fame makes it even better.
I wondered when someone would actually make a legitimate parkour video decked out in Assassin garb. Thankfully, Ronnie Shalvis has. Check out the video above, it’s actually quite good.
After what was apparently a very strange viral marketing bit, the first gameplay trailer for Assassin’s Creed III has found it’s way online. Pre-alpha footage or not, it looks gorgeous and having the voiceover is a nice touch. Hit the jump to check it out!
And we’re back! Took some time off to work on a site redesign (that’s on the way), and with all the news pouring out almost daily about the absolutely legendary-looking Assassin’s Creed III, I thought it might be a good idea to sort of assemble a compendium of what we know so far, to get everyone on the same page. Obviously there will be minor spoilers for anyone wanting to go into the game fresh, but the rest of you hit the jump to check out all the details.
Fan art is usually hit or miss. There’s stuff that looks nice but isn’t exactly ground-breaking, usually just copying an existing piece. Then there’s stuff that actually shows a bit of creativity and comes out simply stunning. One such example is this gallery by S. Strand on deviantART, which features the characters of the Assassin’s Creed series done in art noveau style (which, honestly, is a no brainer. It fits the tone of the series just so damn well). Hit the jump to see the pieces.
It’s almost time, Assassins. On November 15th, the latest title in the Asssassin’s Creed saga, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, hits stores and Ubisoft has gone ahead and given us an absolutely epic trailer to commemorate the launch. Watch it after the jump.
Well folks, it’s official. After speculating yesterday on the validity of a press photo that seemed to show Firenze’s legendary assassin in the ranks of fighters for Soul Calibur V, we now have an official trailer announcing his arrival. As expected, it’s fairly badass. Check it out after the jump.
