Epic Dr.Who/Sherlock Mashup FanVid!

February 9, 2012 Leave a comment

The very minute Whovians learned that Steven Moffat would be penning the Sherlock Holmes redux for BBC, the fanfic crossover cup raneth over and the fanart promptly followed. ┬áThe nifty graphic you see above is just one example from the seriously talented Nero749, who’s stuff you should go buy. čÖé Before you even ask, yes, there’s a┬áDeviantArt Group┬ádedicated to the Time Lord and the master of deduction (wait, Master?!!.. Great, now my crossover fanfic plot bunny is stirring). ┬áNaturally, it follows that there are a ton of fanvids that have joined in on the fun as well. As I’m sure you are well aware, however, truly amazing fanvids are few and far between. So when something like this comes across the desk, it has to be shared. This person has some serious effing FinalCut skills and I’m not afraid to say I’m absolutely jealous! Hit the jump to check it out and let me know what you think in the comments!

Awesomesauce: Watchponies

This…this is. I don’t even know where to start. This may actually literally be the greatest mashup I have EVER SEEN. I discovered this clip of clips from My Little Pony cut to the Watchmen trailer around 1am last night, which might be a factor in why I found it so funny, and spent a good hour seeking out the other videos.

There is a whole series of these done by BronyVids on YouTube, and this man deserves a pat on the back. Not because it’s kinda humorous to see the My Little Pony crew re-enact trailers, but because of how utterly well done they are. The syncing is perfect, and it makes the whole thing extremely watchable. Check out ‘Watchponies’ above, and some more of my favorites after the jump.
