This post really needs no introduction; watch above as Yoshitaka Amano, the man behind FINAL FANTASY‘s legendary art, illustrates some work for Child of Light.
Ever since the announcement of Kingdom Hearts III, I’ve been pining hard for those lost adventures of yesteryear with Sora and Co. It seems like everyone else out there is feeling the same way as we’ve seen a lot of Kingdom Hearts related stories hit the web in recent months (no doubt due to the release of Kingdom Hearts 1.5). To help fill the void while we wait for Kingdom Hearts III to get a release date, Did You Know Gaming has released a video detailing some little-known facts about what went on behind the scenes during the development of the original Kingdom Hearts. Hit the jump to check it out, there’s some cool stuff in there.
I wondered when someone would actually make a legitimate parkour video decked out in Assassin garb. Thankfully, Ronnie Shalvis has. Check out the video above, it’s actually quite good.
And here you thought Boo, the little girl from Monsters Inc., couldn’t get more adorable. Video remix artist Pogo, a personal favorite of mine, has been on quite the Disney binge the last couple of years, remixing some of their most beloved films into tracks. His latest is compiled using audio taken completely from Monsters Inc., and Monsters Inc. only. It’s stellar, as always, so check it out above.
First off, if you were born after 1993 I wouldn’t even bother watching the above video. You won’t get the same effect as us kids that grew up in the 90s will; it’s our entire childhood in one three minute compilation. When someone makes a video compilation of 2000-2010, you guys can have your turn. For everyone else, click play above and relive the magic.
You know, it’s about time we geeks had an anthem. That’s apparently what I FIGHT DRAGONS thought, and thankfully their geek anthem “The Geeks Will Inherit the Earth” is insanely catchy and oh so true. Every word of it. Check it out after the jump.
As we’ve previously reported, the next patch for FINAL FANTASY XIV Online, Patch 1.19, will finally be bringing chocobo and airship travel to the realm of Eorzea. As part of the promised fixes and changes made to fans by the new development team, players of the title have been waiting quite some time to finally get a look at the infamous mounts in action. Well, they needn’t wait any longer. Early this morning, the official FINAL FANTASY XIV Twitter account posted a little trailer of sorts for the upcoming addition, and it looks great. Check it out after the jump.
