One New Poster and One Awesome Magazine Cover For ‘Godzilla,’ Plus Hear the Roar!

It’s a good time to be a Godzilla fan. This year the King of the Monsters is finally returning to the big screen after the atrocious Godzilla back in 1998 sent everyone’s favorite giant lizard into a production coma, and based on everything we’ve seen so far (seriously, how freaking amazing was that first trailer?) from Gareth Edward’s reboot it looks like old scale-back’s in good hands. We’ve got a new poster for the film now that shows a bit more of Godzilla himself, a cover for Empire Magazine that shows him in all his glory, audio released of the roar, and I’ve also reattached the first trailer just because we never shared it here. Warner Bros. Reportedly Approching Ben Affleck to Direct ‘Justice League’

Hot on the heels of Joss Whedon’s confirmation that he’ll be returning to write and direct The Avengers 2, Variety is now reporting that Warner Bros. has approached Ben Affleck to helm Justice League. Hit the jump for all the details.

Warner Bros. Talks Plans For ‘Wonder Woman’ and ‘Justice League’ Films

With the immense success of The Avengers for Marvel, it was only a matter of time until DC and Warner Bros. got their acts together and made some serious attempts at building a film universe. They’ve already (kind of) started with Green Lantern, which sort of fizzled at the box office and really didn’t hint at a larger universe. Looks like DC and Warner Bros. are game to try again, though. We’ve already known a Flash movie was in the works and today we have some comments from Warner Bros. about the state of the Wonder Woman and Justice League films. Hit the jump to read on.

Official Logo Revealed For ‘Man of Steel’

It’s a good day for Superman fans, as we’ve now got our first look at the official logo for the upcoming Man of Steel. Personally? I love it, and I really hope this means we get a poster soon.

I gotta say, I’m pretty excited for DC and Warner Bros. upcoming adaptation of Mark Waid’s Tower of Babel entitled Justice League: Doom. Not just because that was an awesome JLA arc, but because the current lineup of DC animated features has just been utterly stellar so far. After watching this ten minute preview, I’m anticipating it even more. Check it out after the jump.
