Web Roundup: Defending ‘Man of Steel’ Costumes, Video Games Behind Your Back, and the Evolution of the Batwing

August 17, 2011 1 comment

Click above for the evolution of the Batwing.

One thing I love about comic book-based properties is how it seems to be the one medium that it’s acceptable to reinterpret in dozens of different ways, as long as the end result works. Batman is no exception, and given all the leaks coming out of The Dark Knight Rises MTV has decided to show the evolution of Batman’s Batwing over the years. Head over there now to check it out.

Web Roundup: Billionaire Building ‘Bioshock’s Rapture, Ninja Turtle Robs a Wendys, and Hyrulean Biology

Click above for a lesson in Hyrulean Biology.

I think the featured link today speaks for itself. There are literally hundreds of creatures and species in the Zelda universe, and over at Unreality they have a big old biology tree chart showing how all these creatures spawned from the Deku Tree. It’s quite fascinating.
