Once again this week, our WTF item comes from the fashion world. Now, I don’t consider myself by any means to be at the forefront of fashion, but I’m pretty sure Black Milk’s latest legging offering is not going to be on a runway anytime soon. You just know someone who shouldn’t be wearing leggings in the first place is going to try and squeeze into these and think it’s the most hilarious thing ever. The best to be hoped for is perhaps Lady Gaga sporting them in lieu of another meat suit. Don’t get me wrong, they have some pretty sweet, nerdy stuff on their site too, like the Mario/Watchmen mash-up bathing suit. On the other hand, though, these are the same folks who brought you the Steve Buscemi dress, which is just… wow.
You can blame Canada for this week’s WTF item. Just when you thought beanie-wearing hipsters couldn’t get any lamer, here comes The Beardo. It’s a beanie with a hideable knitted beard inside to warm your face. Yes, you read that correctly. To read more about getting the faux Galifianakis look, hit the jump…
Hey kids, who wants to lose some sleep tonight? I’m sure many of you remember Flareon, one of the original three Eevee evolutions in the Pokemon series, and have fond memories of its adorable and cuddly nature. Well, as it turns out, that adorableness really doesn’t translate well as a cosplay choice, as evidenced by this insanely creepy Flareon costume. Check it out after the jump.
Ladies and gentlemen occasionally there comes along a hair statement so bold, so balls-out daring that you can’t help but gaze upon it in awe before, in some cases, bursting into violent fits of laughter. Today here on WTF Wednesday we’ve been gifted with the ability to show you one of these legendary statements, and have done so after the jump. My friends, I give you the spiked mullet.
Not many appreciate the subtle art of the birth and death of YouTube fame. Usually by the time the “general population” discovers a meme it’s been done to the point that it’s completely devoid of any humor whatsoever (I pray the idiot freshmen in my Ancient Philosophy class read this and realize just how annoying and sad their constant cries of “TROLLING!” are), and it’s always a sad day when that occurs. Luckily, we here at Nerdeux usually catch on to this stuff fast enough to bring it to you guys before it’s run its course. Therefore we are proud to present, for this week’s edition of WTF Wednesday, a true clip so “what the f**k” in nature you can’t help but laugh: Chuck Testa’s commercial for his Ojai Valley Taxidermy. Check it out after the jump.
Ah, guidos. Welcome back to WTF Wednesday, where we bring you some of the strangest (and often hysterical) crap to ever sink into the fibers of the internet. This week we bring you a rare bit of documentary footage of guidos in the wild, attempting to attract a mate! Watch along with us above!
P.S. Anyone remember that episode of Dexter’s Laboratory where it does a spoof on animal documentaries by following Dexter around, calling him “Blackfoot?” This video deserves that narrator. All together now: “…Amaaaaaazing.”
I don’t…how…but it’s just…
Mark this date on the calendar as the day that something has rendered me speechless. Someone needs to explain to me WTF the point of this is? Other than looking like a complete moron, that is. I mean, how is that even on there, did they super glue it for Christ’s sake? I think this may actually be more stupid than last week’s WTF item, the Thuggie. That’s an accomplishment.
