SDCC 2012: The First Teaser Poster for ‘Man of Steel’

Morning, all. I’m back from my yearly vacation to the geek Vatican that is the San Diego Comic-Con international and while I don’t have any firsthand news from any panels (it was a big signing year for me), I do have some nice little tidbits. They may have their fair share of critics and criticisms out there in the ether, but I for one am a huge fan of the modern Bond films featuring Daniel Craig. What can I say, I like what I like. Upon hearing that despite MGM’s financial troubles the franchise would indeed go on, I obviously got extremely amped up for the next entry, Skyfall. The First Teaser For ‘Beware the Batman’

After a few months of pretty much no news about Batman’s return to animation in Cartoon Network’s latest series, Beware the Batman, we now have our first bit of teaser footage. A lot of people, myself included, are a little wary of the dark knight’s first foray into CGI animation, particularly because of some odd casting choices. If you recall, they’ve replaced Robin with Katana and now Alfred appears to wield guns. Since this is a teaser we don’t get a lot of new info at all besides a look at the show’s Batmobile. It’s hard to gauge the quality of a project based on fifteen seconds of video but I remain optimistic about TRON: UPRISING, the upcoming cartoon series from Disney. The teaser above looks good at least. Check it out.
