‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey’ Teaser Trailer: Hobbits. Dwarves. Gandalf. Singing. Enough Said.
After what seems like eons of development issues, Peter Jackson is finally returning to the land of Middle Earth with his two-parter adaptation of The Hobbit. We’ve been looking forward to a trailer for the first one for a long time, and it appears it will be attached to prints of The Adventures of Tintin this holiday season. However, it’s also online and you can check it out after the jump.
‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Theatrical Trailer
Well, it’s finally arrived. Now that plenty of people have seen the debut of the theatrical trailer for The Dark Knight Rises in front of Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows and thousands have seen the six minute prologue in front of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Warner has gone ahead and released the full trailer online. If you haven’t seen it, you’re missing out. Hit the jump to check it out.
How the Grinch Stole the Nightmare Before Christmas
Finally off for winter break, so we’re going to try to get back to a normal posting schedule!
This is a nice little bit of fanart for the holidays that I enjoyed. Also, I would watch the hell out of this movie.
Everything You Need to Know About ‘FINAL FANTASY XIII-2’ In a Four-Minute Nutshell
I have to admit, despite all common sense FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 has me intrigued. I didn’t mind XIII as much as others, but the stigma imposed on direct sequels to FINAL FANTASY titles by FINAL FANTASY X-2 is still fresh in the minds of many. After watching this primer, however, I think I’m about to place a pre-order. Hit the jump to get a nice four minute preview that’ll teach you everything you need to know about FINAL FANTASY XIII-2.
‘Justice League: Doom’ Gets a Trailer and Release Date
DC may not be able to top Marvel just yet when it comes to their live-action adaptations (Batman aside, obviously), but when it comes to the adaptation of their famous stories into animated features DC tends to blow Marvel right out of the water. The latest offering from DC comes to us in the form of Justice League: Doom, the animated adaptation of the infamous Tower of Babel storyline, which will hit stores on February 28th, 2012. Hit the jump to check out the trailer and full box art.
Awesomesauce: The Art of Coran ‘Kizer’ Stone
There was an awesome feature up at Unreality today about what Calvin and Hobbes would look like all grown up, as secret agents (a book I’d totally read, or a show I’d totally watch, etc). However the entire gallery of artist Coran Stone, AKA kizer180 on deviantART, definitely deserves some attention. Hit the jump for some more awesomesauce from his gallery.
