Spoilerific: Henry Cavill as an…Unusual Clark Kent in New ‘Man of Steel’ Set Photos

It’s been fairly well-known at this point that director Zack Snyder’s take on the Superman mythos in Man of Steel will be decidedly different than the character’s past appearances on the big screen. We’ve seen how different his costume is from the previous incarnations, now it would seem his Clark is going to be undergoing a few changes as well. Check out the photos after the jump.

So, let’s break this new bearded Clark down. According to the synopsis, Kal-El will be spending some time trying figure out just why he’s’ on Earth and what his role is. Since this is supposedly from a fishing village set, I imagine this is just a short bit from when he’s out soul-searching.
