Since we’re somewhat back I’ve decided to expand The Rogues Gallery a bit. The sheer amount of concept art that goes into any gaming project is absolutely staggering, and given how gorgeous most of it is it’s an absolute shame that many are completely unaware of a lot of it. So we’ll be showcasing the concept art of some gaming titles from time to time, and I’ve decided to kick it off with the art of FINAL FANTASY XIII as I’m currently replaying it. Hit the jump to check it out!

Fantastic New Behind-the-Scene Photos From ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’

GUARDIANSheader2

Guardians of the Galaxy is rapidly becoming my most anticipated film of the year (and will probably take the top slot once Godzilla is released). Everything about it just seems so refreshing and new compared to the rest of the Marvel universe, and after seeing the tone and expectations change quite a bit in Captain America: The Winter Soldier I think it’s safe to say that Guardians will deliver on the promised originality. Everything we’ve seen so far as well seems to reaffirm it, such as these new photos shot during production of the film. Hit the jump to check them out.

Rocksteady Announces ‘Batman: Arkham Knight’ For Next-Gen Consoles

ARKHAMKNIGHTHEADER

Oh Rocksteady, you guys know how to make an entrance. After it was announced that Batman: Arkham Origins would not be developed by Rocksteady Studios, many speculated that perhaps the company had left Bats behind them. But with no new announcements from the studio and little hints here and there, opinion started to change to the idea that Rocksteady had abstained from doing Origins in order to develop a far larger Arkham title for next-gen consoles. That rumor turned out to be spot-on this morning as a trailer and a slew of information about the new title, Arkham Knight, hit the web. Hit the jump to check out the trailer and read on.

GODZILLAHeader

It’s a good time to be a Godzilla fan. This year the King of the Monsters is finally returning to the big screen after the atrocious Godzilla back in 1998 sent everyone’s favorite giant lizard into a production coma, and based on everything we’ve seen so far (seriously, how freaking amazing was that first trailer?) from Gareth Edward’s reboot it looks like old scale-back’s in good hands. We’ve got a new poster for the film now that shows a bit more of Godzilla himself, a cover for Empire Magazine that shows him in all his glory, audio released of the roar, and I’ve also reattached the first trailer just because we never shared it here. Hit the jump to check it out.
